Floral Tale Hand-Carved Stoneware Goblet Mug

Part of the Floral Tale collection by Sanbahuo, an independent ceramic studio in Jingdezhen, this handcrafted goblet mug combines the tactile character of rustic stoneware with precise, graphic decoration.

The body retains the earthy, slightly granular character associated with coarse ceramic clay rather than pursuing the perfectly uniform surface of industrial porcelain. Hand-carved lines bring texture and definition to the black and off-white decoration.

Choose Your Pattern

All-Over Floral — Large, overlapping petal motifs cover the cup body. Fine lines extend across the pale petals against a dark ground, creating a bold, continuous floral composition.

Floral Band — A continuous band of smaller stylized flowers wraps around the center of the cup. Fine vertical lines run across the pale body above and below the dark band, while small raised glaze dots punctuate the floral decoration.

Its form is equally distinctive. A rounded cup body rises above a sculpted pedestal foot, while the simple circular handle creates a strong geometric counterpoint to the floral decoration.

Made by hand in Jingdezhen, each piece carries slight variations in carved lines, glaze, surface texture and firing character. These differences are inherent to the handmade process and make every piece subtly individual.

Hand Wash Only.
Wash gently with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Do not use in a dishwasher. Avoid abrasive cleaners, sudden temperature changes and direct impact.
