FORGOODNESS was founded in 2019 in Jingdezhen, a cultural hub with a thousand-year history of porcelain making.

Guided by a contemporary aesthetic, we create objects suited to modern life. Drawing on the ancient meaning of ‘art’—to bow towards the earth, labour with our hands, cultivate, and then reap the fruits of growth—we dedicate ourselves to our craft.


About Ceramic Care

FORGOODNESS tableware is crafted using Jingdezhen’s comprehensive artisanal techniques, with most stages completed by hand by skilled craftsmen. Minor variations or imperfections may occur; these are to be expected and comply with national standards. We kindly ask that you respect the inherent characteristics of the materials and craftsmanship.


FORGOODNESS tableware is fired at high temperatures in the kiln, but may feature special decorations such as gold and silver enamels or gemstones; please hand-wash where possible.


The silver decoration is made of pure silver and may oxidise to varying degrees depending on the environment; simply polish gently with a silver polishing cloth to restore its shine.


Porcelain is a delicate material; please do not drop or knock it against hard objects, and do not use metal items such as steel wool for cleaning or polishing.
