Proportion is everything in a vase. At 230mm high with a slender Ø60mm body and a Ø30mm mouth, Tall Neck No.4 is built for restraint — a single stem, a bare branch, or nothing at all. The vertical form draws the eye upward and holds it there.

Handcrafted by YQ Lacquer in Guangzhou using natural lacquer over a paper body, the surface is not static. Natural lacquer deepens with age, developing a quiet patina that is unique to each piece and to the conditions of the space it inhabits. This is a vase that changes slowly over years — a quality that no synthetic finish can replicate.
